Irish Group to play Dhaka, Bangladesh

Delighted to connect @niamhnicharra to Dhaka Folk Fest​ via Alan Tweedie for the Festival Nov 12-14. @IrlEmbIndiaThis November the Niamh Ní Charra Band plays at Sun Events’ Dhaka Folk Festival on Saturday 14 November at the Army Stadium, Tongi Diversion Road. The Band is making a first visit in South Asia. Niamh Ní Charra hails from County Kerry, south west Ireland. Niamh started playing music at the early age of 4, under the tutelage of renowned local musician Nicky McAuliffe. A multiple award winner on both fiddle and concertina, she toured internationally from 1998 to 2006 as a soloist with the hit-musical Riverdance.Arts interactions Alan Tweedie brings artists and performers together from across borders, increasing understanding and building creative initiatives — ALWAYS through partnership.
